As of 2025, League of Legends is not officially available on Xbox consoles — but that doesn’t mean console gamers are entirely left out of the League universe.

Can You Play League of Legends on Xbox?

The original PC version of League of Legends is not supported on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One. Riot Games has not developed a console port of the full 5v5 Summoner’s Rift experience.

However, you do have alternative ways to get in on the action.

Wild Rift: The Console Experience

Riot’s mobile adaptation, League of Legends: Wild Rift, is set to launch on consoles including Xbox, following its success on mobile.

Features of Wild Rift on Xbox:

  • Reworked UI for controller input
  • Shorter match durations (12–15 minutes)
  • Cross-platform matchmaking with other console players
  • Optimized visuals for TV screens

While Wild Rift isn’t available on Xbox at this very moment, Riot has confirmed it is in active development and testing.

Can You Stream PC League to Xbox?

A workaround is using Xbox Remote Play or cloud streaming (e.g., via Nvidia GeForce NOW or Xbox browser apps) to stream PC League to your TV, but the experience isn’t ideal for competitive play.
