During the “RiotX Arcane” celebration, players had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Arcane through a special, limited-time event pass: the Arcane Pass.
What Was the Arcane Pass?
Released as a free event battle pass, the Arcane Pass stood apart from Valorant’s standard Act Battlepasses. It was automatically available to all players who logged into the game during its designated event window.
This pass featured ten levels of exclusive, Arcane-themed content, offering a treasure trove of cosmetics to dedicated players. Rewards included:
- The Arcane Cupcake Gun Buddy
- The “Welcome to the Undercity” Player Card
- Various Arcane-themed sprays and titles
- Other unique cosmetic items
How Players Obtained the Arcane Pass (When Available)
Acquiring the Arcane Pass and its rewards was straightforward for players active during the event:
- Log In During the Event: Simply logging into Valorant within the specified event period automatically granted players access to the Arcane Pass.
- Earn XP to Progress: Players advanced through the pass by engaging in matches and accumulating XP, much like with a regular battle pass. Each level unlocked a new reward.
- Complete Special Missions: Certain Arcane-themed items, such as the Arcane Poro Gun Buddy and the “Loose Cannon” Spray, were tied to special missions or participation in crossover activities related to the broader RiotX Arcane event.
- Twitch Drops: Exclusive Arcane player cards and other rewards were distributed via Twitch drops. Players needed to link their Riot and Twitch accounts and tune into designated streams to be eligible for these coveted items.

The Limited-Time Window
It’s crucial to note that the original Arcane Pass was a strictly limited-time offering, available only from November 5 to November 22, 2021. Once this event window closed, the pass and its associated rewards became unobtainable through standard gameplay or purchase.
The Arcane Collector’s Set
In addition to the free Arcane Pass, Riot also introduced the Arcane Collector’s Set. This premium, store-exclusive bundle featured high-tier cosmetics like the Arcane Sheriff skin and the Monkey Business Gun Buddy. Unlike the free pass, this set required Valorant Points (VP) for purchase and was also available for a limited duration during the same event period.
Can You Still Get the Arcane Pass Today?
Unfortunately, for players who missed out on the original event, the Arcane Pass and its exclusive rewards are currently not available. Riot Games has not announced any plans for reruns or alternative methods to unlock these cosmetics. As such, these items remain legacy content, highlighting the importance of participating in Valorant’s special events when they go live.
