Valorant: How to Get the Ace Title

Updated: 10th September 2025 2 min read

Valorant is full of exclusive cosmetics that reward dedication and progression—and among them, the “Ace” title stands out as a coveted badge of skill and grind. Unlike agent contracts or store purchases, the Ace title was tied directly to a specific Battle Pass, making it a legacy item for those who played during that window.

How the Ace Title Was Earned

The Ace title first appeared in Episode 6: Revelation, Act 2, released in 2023. To unlock it, players had to:

Elderflame Vandal
  • Progress through the Revelation: Act 2 Battle Pass.
  • Reach Tier 35, which required consistent XP gains from matches and daily or weekly missions.
  • Once unlocked, the Ace title was permanently added to a player’s collection and could be equipped in the Player Card menu at any time.

There was no option to skip the grind through contracts or direct purchase—the only way to earn it was by playing and completing the Act’s Battle Pass before it expired.

Current Availability

Today, the Ace title is considered a legacy cosmetic. Players who didn’t reach Tier 35 during Revelation: Act 2 can no longer unlock it, as Riot Games does not generally reissue past Battle Pass rewards.

The only slim possibility for its return would be through the Accessories Store, where Riot has occasionally rerun select titles and cosmetics for Kingdom Credits. However, such rotations are unpredictable, and there’s no guarantee the Ace title will make a comeback.

Why It Matters

The Ace title holds weight not just as a cosmetic, but as a symbol of dedication during a specific period in Valorant’s history. Much like older titles and sprays from launch-era passes, it has become a marker of veteran status—showing that the player committed the time and effort to hit top tiers when it mattered.

The Bottom Line

The Ace title could only be earned during Revelation: Act 2 by completing the Battle Pass up to Tier 35. For those who unlocked it, it’s now a permanent part of their collection. For everyone else, it’s one more reminder to keep up with current passes and events—because once they’re gone, many rewards, like the Ace title, may never return.
