Valorant: How to Get the Lone Wolf Title

Updated: 10th September 2025 2 min read

Valorant players love to personalize their profiles with unique banners, cards, and titles—but some cosmetics are more elusive than others. One of the rarest is the “Lone Wolf” title, a reward from Valorant’s earliest days that has since become a piece of launch history.

How the Lone Wolf Title Was Earned

The Lone Wolf title was originally tied to Episode 1: IGNITION, Act 1, Valorant’s very first battle pass released in the summer of 2020.

Here’s how players unlocked it:

  • Progress through the IGNITION: Act 1 Battle Pass.
  • Complete Chapter 7 of the pass, which required reaching Tier 35 in the free reward track.
  • Once unlocked, the Lone Wolf title appeared in a player’s Collection under the Player Card section and could be equipped at any time.

When the Act ended, so did the opportunity to earn the title. Riot has never re-released it, and there is currently no way to unlock it through contracts, later battle passes, or direct purchase.

Current Availability

Today, the Lone Wolf title is considered a legacy cosmetic. It remains available only to players who completed IGNITION: Act 1’s Chapter 7 during its live window. For everyone else, it’s unobtainable.

Riot Games has not offered retroactive unlocks for early titles, nor has it rotated them back through events or stores—meaning Lone Wolf is locked permanently to Valorant’s launch-era community.

Tips for Collecting New Titles

While Lone Wolf is gone for good, Riot continues to release exclusive player titles through:

  • Seasonal Battle Pass chapters.
  • Special events and missions.
  • Limited-time promotional rewards.

For new or returning players, the lesson is clear: keep up with current battle passes and finish their chapters before the Act ends. Titles often never return, making them valuable collectibles down the road.

The Bottom Line

The Lone Wolf title in Valorant was a free reward from Chapter 7 of the IGNITION: Act 1 Battle Pass, available only in mid-2020. It’s now a rare badge of honor for launch-era players and a reminder that some Valorant cosmetics are truly one-time opportunities.
