In Marvel Rivals, Danqing was a special event currency introduced during the “Fortune & Colors” event, celebrating the Lunar New Year. This limited-time event ran until February 14, 2025, at 9 AM UTC.
During the event period, players could earn Danqing by completing event-specific missions and challenges, particularly in the limited-time “Clash of the Dancing Lions” game mode.
Once accumulated, Danqing was used to “paint” sections of a special illustration within the event’s interface. Each painted section contributed to unlocking exclusive rewards, which included:
- Drum and Roar nameplate
- Snake’s Luck spray
- 200 Chrono Tokens
- Lion’s Mane nameplate and spray
- Lion’s Mane costume for Star-Lord
- “Of Festivals and Friends” gallery card memento
Players could access the painting interface by navigating to the “Fortune & Colors” event page from the game’s main menu during the event’s duration. Each painted section required 100 Danqing, and rewards were unlocked sequentially as players progressed through the illustration.
The “Fortune & Colors” event concluded on February 14, 2025, so players can no longer earn or spend Danqing from this specific past event.
