Riot Games introduced a new cooperative PvE mode, Swarm, to League of Legends on July 17, 2024, as part of the Anima Squad 2024 event. This mode was available until August 19, 2024, offering players a fresh gameplay experience distinct from the traditional Summoner’s Rift.
What Is Swarm?
Swarm is a four-player cooperative mode set in the futuristic Anima Squad universe. Players assume the roles of reimagined champions, known as “fighters,” to combat waves of enemies called Primordians. The gameplay draws inspiration from bullet heaven titles, emphasizing survival against overwhelming odds.
