Valorant players looking to add a bit of style to their loadouts now have access to a brand-new cosmetic—the Phone Flex. Introduced with Patch 10.10 on January 8, 2025, this free item marks the debut of the FLEX category, Riot’s latest cosmetic line designed to let players “show off” in the middle of matches.
How to Get the Phone Flex
Unlike skins or titles locked behind battle passes, the Phone Flex is refreshingly simple to unlock:
- Log in to Valorant after Patch 10.10. The item is automatically added to your inventory for free—no quests, no purchases required.
- Navigate to the Collection menu, then select Expressions. Within this section, a new Flex tab displays available FLEX items.
- Equip the Phone Flex to your Expressions Wheel, which allows up to four slots for FLEX or spray items.
- In-game, press the default “T” key on PC (or use the right D-pad on consoles) to open the wheel, select the phone, and your agent will instantly pull it out for allies and spectators to admire. A simple left-click triggers an interaction or inspection animation.
Can New Players Still Unlock It?
Yes. Riot has confirmed that the Phone Flex will remain a free reward for every player who logs in throughout 2025. It serves as the first taste of the FLEX system, with future cosmetics planned for release through events, promotional drops, and premium battle passes.
Cosmetic Features
The Phone Flex is a purely decorative item—it doesn’t alter hitboxes, weapon handling, or movement speed. Instead, it’s meant as a stylish flourish:
- Players can inspect and interact with the phone during downtime.
- The device can display custom details, including your Riot ID, agent banner, or equipped player title.
- As the FLEX category grows, more unique cosmetic props will be added, such as themed devices or novelty items.
