Victorious Skins in League of Legends 2019

Victorious Skins – for many, the only reason to grind during ranked games so they can reach the Gold League and grab them. I’ve been there, I’ve done that.

Riot carefully chooses champions that will receive Victorious Skins so often those are very popular ones, making it a really interesting reward that most of us will actually be using in their games.

Requirements

You don’t need to be a Solo Queue beast to get it, all kinds of ranked queues are eligible, including 5v5 Ranked Teams, 3v3 Ranked Teams and obviously the Solo/Duo Queue. Additionally, in latter Seasons, every queue has a different chroma.

You, however, need to be an honorable player because those with recent suspensions are excluded from the Seasonal rewards.

To the point..

It’s worth noting that Victorious Skins are rare because after the Season ends, there is no way to get them. It’s especially true for the first few Seasons.

Okay, so what Victorious Skins are available in League of Legends? Are they cool? Let’s see!

Victorious Jarvan IV – Season 1

Here comes the King! Pretty obvious choice for a Victorious Skin if you ask me. It’s definitely the rarest of them, simply because it was granted in the first ranked Season ever. That’s a really long time ago. In fact, it’s one of the rarest skins in League of Legends in general.

Despite being rare, the skin is not too visually appealing. They only gave Jarvan a silver armor and everyone knows that Silver < Gold, which is the one he has by default. ? But well, since it was almost 10 years ago, let’s forgive them this one.

Victorious Janna – Season 2

Support mains didn’t have to wait too long to get a Victorious Skin for them. Tornado Queen got one for herself in Season 2. In my opinion, this skin looks way better than the previous one. Seems that a year was enough for the graphics team to take notes and improve.

Victorious Elise – Season 3

And now the champion that caused so much headache in Season 3. TLDR: She was OP! For that reason, the Victorious Skin choice wasn’t surprising at all at the time. The skin itself looks good but I don’t think it’s super special.

Victorious Morgana – Season 4

Season 4 and yet another skin for our beloved support mains. Now, this is when the Victorious Skins started to get more interesting. Victorious Morgana skin features new particles and animations.

Victorious Sivir – Season 5

In Season 5 Riot decided to (finally) please AD Carry mains. This glorious skin follows the usual schema of a goldish armor.

Victorious Maokai – Season 6

Our “viable everywhere” tree finally got a Victorious Skin in Season 6, what must have made Jungle, Top and Support mains happy. Definitely a well-deserved skin.

Victorious Graves – Season 7

This skin improves Graves clothing dramatically, finally putting him in a gold and shiny armor. Victorious Graves was the first skin to have chromas based on the Ranked Queues players ended in Gold League. Unfortunately, none of them has a cigar. ?

Victorious Orianna – Season 8

The first skin for a somehow popular Mid lane pick. As in the previous Season, chromas are available depending on the queue. That’s a really visually appealing skin, especially with the available chroma variations.

Victorious Aatrox – Season 9

At the time of writing this article we don’t know yet how this Season’s Victorious Skin will look. Hopefully, Riot gives players something great! There have been rumors that the skin might end up too similar to Justicar Aatrox what makes me worry a bit, though. We will see.
